Lizzet Frausto x Domenica Marland

Two creative worlds, brought together through pattern, colour and a shared love of the beauty found in everyday things.

I’ve teamed up with Domenica Marland, whose wonderful eye for art and objects brings together old and new, English charm and a love of colour and beautiful things.

Together, we’ve brought my Betsy design to two new pieces for the home: a beautiful Betsy tea towel and a decorative matchbox, both made in England.  The two are also available as a thoughtful gift set, tied with a rich red velvet ribbon.

Inspired by the romance of English gardens, Betsy is filled with hand-drawn flowers and leafy garlands. On the tea towel, its joyful pattern brings a little extra charm to the everyday kitchen. The matchbox offers something different: beautifully textured, substantial paper that makes this everyday object a pleasure to look at and leave on display.

For me, collaborations are a lovely way to see a design take on a new life. Working with other creatives brings fresh perspectives and unexpected possibilities, and it’s exciting to discover how a pattern can find its way into new objects and settings.
