Best 2025 Interior Design Trends That We Love

Every year brings new surprises and ideas to redecorate our homes, make them more comfortable and relevant to today's lifestyles.  After speaking with many interior designers in London, New York and Los Angeles, we see a consistent trend and focus on wellness and comfort.  Sustainability is a top priority to many home owners and interior designers, and the consensus is that technology has made it more accessible and less expensive.

What are our top 2025 home decor trends for 2025?  Read on to find out how the focus of the year to come will be on creating homes that are nurturing, enduring, and a little bit unexpected.

Elegant earth tones

Following last year's trend, brown will continue to have the spotlight in 2025, offering endless versatility and a connection to nature that feels just right for the times. “There are so many shades to play with, and it can act as a soft neutral or a rich moody tone,” says Night Palm founder Tiffany Howell when featured at Elle Decor.

Many interior designers agree that earthly tones like ochre, yellow, warm orange will bring that natural warmth to interiors and will help to feel the connection to nature and elegant design.

Pattern drenching

Mixing patterns and adding them more than ever before to home interiors will help create individualistic interiors where we can express our own personality and taste through design, creating a style to focus more on our lifestyle and what we like over passing trends.

Maximalism will still have a place in 2025, and designers are expecting to still create eclectic spaces but with a focus on elegance.

At-home wellness spaces

One topic several designers agreed upon was a growing emphasis on physical and mental well-being at home.  This doesn't mean that you will need to create a spa at home, or something that requires major footprint, but rather an interest for places that feel private and personal, like a quiet reading nook or a room where you can just breathe and unwind.

Nods to nature

Designers and artist have always drawn inspiration from nature, and this year we keep gravitating toward stones, woods, and natural fibres; bringing warmth and texture through natural materials.  We believe there is an elegance on seeing how a material changes with time, giving a space a unique and incomparable feel.

Adding touches with floral designs or inspired by nature is a very elegant and artistic way of bringing nature into our homes too.

Highlight on comfort

Perhaps slightly connected to all trends discussed above, there seems to be an increased request to create spaces that are comfortable and suit our lifestyle above trends.  Spaces that help us follow our daily rituals with ease and comfort.  We are saying good-bye to home decor styles that are beautiful but that we don't feel a connection with.  Both interior designers, architects and clients want to create homes that are comfortable, where they can relax, recharge and be ourselves.

Where can you start? We are including soft and beautiful fabrics, cushions and furniture that make a room welcoming, practical and perfect for our lifestyles.
